RIP: John Moon, Oldest Known Surviving Marine From Battle of Iwo Jima Dies at 103

A sad day for The Corps and for America when we lose another of or greatest generation. It wont be much longer before they are all gone. If you know a WWII vet, honor him now. We have out in a flagpole for a retired WWII Navy Master Chief and he will have his first ceremonial flag raising on Monday, Veterans Day along with members of my VEW post and the Navy Chiefs mess out of Naval Station Newport.
