Thank you, my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell for sharing the music video of Ritchie Valens performing "Come On Let's Go"
As our friend LTC Stephen C. mentioned "This fantastic song by the late great "Richie Valens" was recorded way back in 1958 which was only about 9 months before he died in that tragic plane crash that also took the lives of "Buddy Holly" and "The Big Bopper."
"Come On, Let's Go" written by Ritchie Valens
Lyrics
"Well, come on, let's go, let's go, little darlin'
Tell me that you'll never leave me
Come on, come on, let's go again
Go again and again
Well, now, swing me, swing me, swing me, little darlin'
Come on, let's go, little darlin'
Let's go, let's go again once more
Well, I love you, babe
And I'll never let you go
Come on, baby, so, oh, pretty baby, I love you so
Well, let's go, let's go, let's go, little sweetheart
Forever we can always be together
Come on, come on, let's go again
Oh, well, I love you, babe
And I'll never let you go
Come on, baby, so, oh, pretty baby, I love you so
Well, come on, let's go, let's go, little darlin'
Tell me that you'll never leave me
Come on, come on, let's go again
Again, again, and again
Again, again, and again
Again, again, and again"

Unfortunately for us all, CW5 Jack Cardwell, Ritchie Valens was there “the day the music died”. Here’s a photo of the plane crash that killed Valens, J.P. Richardson and Buddy Holly on February 3, 1959.
