Robert Mugabe 'under house arrest'

It's amazing to me how a country that "won their independence" more than 3 decades ago is still suffering under the same president. I was in Zimbabwe in 99-00 and we knew that man was crooked then (and probably long before). I wouldn't have guessed in a million years that he'd still be alive, much less in power today.

Wasn't Mugabe's wife suppose to take over for Mugabe? Damn misogynist.

I guess we wait and see who emerges in power, and hope it's leader is better to and for the ppl
