Partially because of the assumption that all "white" people are racist. Don't get me started.

Most of my friends and social circle are people of European descent... so I can’t say that “all” anybody are any particular way. However, there are those who express quite vociferously the inferiority of others.

Personally, I don't have a problem talking about racism.

I do, however, have a problem talking about racism with people who automatically like to stick labels on me for things like "white privilege", being "racist", blaming me and mine for slavery, and any number of other issues.

Dr. King had A Dream. I'm living it. And I resent other people who are deliberately undermining The Dream and then blaming it on me just because I'm white. If a person's motives and methods are deliberately driving a wedge between people REGARDLESS of color (and a bunch of other stupid things), then they're part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Yeah...I'll talk about race and racism with anybody...IF that's what they really want to do.
