Rogue planet could bring end of days this weekend

Weren't there several bad sci-fi movies about this?

I remember in 1982, the world was supposed to end because all of the planets were going to line up for the first time ever or something like that. So of course we had an End Of The World Party during which I got myself obliterated with increasingly strong vodka screwdrivers. Some time later I learned that the planets hadn't line up after all, they were just all in the same quadrant. As interesting as that might otherwise be, it was very anticlimactic.
