ROK & U.S. Joint Statement: ROK-U.S. Alliance agrees to deploy THAAD

10 years late in the game... way overdue, but appropriate. We must continue to meet or match the threat posed to our interests. When NK continues attempts at sea launched weapons systems, they will succeed at some point in time. The flight time of these weapons systems are far less than a reactionary time. Every NK sub needs to be tracked... at all times. If its possible...lol... it must be done. Detante must be reestablished. The old policy of the cold war must be reaffirmed...in not only strong words, but in strong actions. NK's mutual destruction must out weigh the saber rattlers. Everyone in that Nation, from peasant to General, must know, without any doubts, they will die if another Korean conflict breaks out. if we don't show that, NK will act out as soon as they believe they can succeed.

History is going to come into play again... WW2, Briton bombed daily... The Brots continued to rise against all odds... drone attacks in tribial areas... and still the terrorists exist. We can bomb all day long and still not win a war... battles yes, but winning wars seem to evade us.

So return to detante tactics. They push... we shove... they shove, we shove harder. We should not start it...but we need to reaffirm that we will end it.
