The device is for any Sailor assigned to Fleet Marine Force Commands, and or Units attached under Marine command and control in Combat can also earn the device. So any Sailor assigned or units attached can earn not just Corpsman. We had several Dets attached to I MEF elements in Iraq and Afghanistan and they earned pins, Seabees not Corpsman. This guy is a jack ass, and has no understanding that Marines do not give out pins, and it is a Navy Warfare device.

CPO (Join to see) - Is this something that can be picked up at a military store or on line?

SGT (Join to see) - Yes, we need to stop or control all these type items and this will stop the dress up guys. I remember in 1992 after gulf war one we received Kuwait liberation the one with Palm tree and supposedly the one we got was with real gold. We went to the NEX to buy the fake ones and back then we had to show orders. The NEX also had Order only items you had to show orders like Bronze Star and above we need to do that again.

CPO (Join to see) - I don't know how it could be enforced, but it definitely needs to be done that wat again. People think what's the big deal. Well the big deal is that a lot of these posers scam businesses and private charities as veterans with the Purple Heart and other fake Medals. They can fool entire small towns, all the way up to large cities and corporations. Not to mention taking Valor away from those of us who are the real deal, and making others doubt our earned Medals and ribbons. That's the big deal.
