Roscoe Conkling Brown Jr. (March 9, 1922 – July 2, 2016) was one of the Tuskegee Airmen and a squadron commander of the 100th Fighter Squadron of the 332nd Fighter Group He was appointed to this position in June 1945, which was after V-E Day (May 8, 1945).

All of the Tuskegee Airmen were brave men. I know they would all have had more promotions had we not had the social climate of the time....
