This read is very long LTC.
Jobs and a culture where it might be difficult in getting people to converse about believing violence is correct behavior.
I get the impression Sir, those highly educated are able to gather info and write an essay to move forward an agenda involving discussion and understanding.
Did the author read about Mohammed and his dictates? I suspect so. But, the conclusions are wrong. So, I have to wonder if these enlighten individuals are fooling themselves.
Perhaps, they missed the part where the later dictates of Mohammed supersede the early ones. You know, when Mohammed became a warlord.
There will not be any peace Sir. Islam is at war with the world. We could submit. But, we need to choose which section. Sunni, or Shia.
The so called Infidels have had enough Sir. It is about power now. Infidels vs warriors for Su'en.

I found the study to run long - but with enough depth that it was a very good look at the issue in Bangladesh as stands now. Why it is interesting to me is because read the "other side" back in 2004-5 when they were trying to build the in roads in Bangladesh. They did not succeed in those efforts - more due to the people in Bangladesh rejecting the BS for the most part. But it attracted a small core - and the effort is over decades and generations.. not our own 2-3 year normal focus. That read was one of the items that really got me interested in the West Point CT Center.

I'm not a fan of Mike Tyson. But, I agree with him. Everyone has a plan until they are punched in the face.
The real world, where men are evil, requires good men to fight.
I suspect, you are already aware of that. But, your hope in Islam getting rid of a violent % shows your empathy and goodness. That violent % will take advantage of your thought process. IMO Sir.

We tend to be in the habit of never finishing the last war before getting into the next one in most of our history... Easy to see start and finish - until you look at the finish more closely and see it really was not ass clear as it looked...
