Always good to find out things about your family history. The highest ranking ancestor I had was a Corporal in the 10th Maryland Infantry.

Nothing Wrong with Corporals, My Father was a Corporal in the Marines, Before He was a Sgt. LOL! I Love History and How My Family has Interacted throughout History has always been Enlightening, Entertaining and Just Special. Great Grandpa William Dawes Most Famous Man Ever for Falling Off a Horse. Sheriff, First Earl of Essex Sir Lord Robert Throckmorton, a Tudor whose Family Fell out of Favor because when they had to choose between the New "England" the Protestant Reformation and their Catholic Faith. They Chose their Catholic Faith and Settled Eastern Maryland. Dr Edward Dawes, Civil War Doctor who had 4 Wives, Lots of His Wives Died Way Too Early. Northern German Prussians like GrGpa Ronsiek that had a Lot of Children with GrGma but was a Special Kind of Philanderer and Politician in St Louis (When He Wasn't Bringing Home a Girl Friend from the Old Country) Gpa Raymond Nagel another Special Philanderer but Pretty Damn Handsome Fellow so?. GrGpa Leitz a Very Orthodox Bavarian Catholic but whose Name is Very German Jewish! LOL! GrGpa Miller who was another Serious German but whose Birth Home of Alsace Loraine is now Part of France.
