Following the call of former President Obama saying that climate change is the most critical and imminent danger to the world, California, Canada and EU pledge carbon dioxide emission controls yet Canada and the Europeans can't put 2% of their GDP towards their Defense expenditures of NATO.
They sure have money for carbon capture, cap and trade and raising fuel prices with Carbon Taxes. France and the Yellow Vests put a stop to that since carbon taxes just get people pissed off.
They worry more about climate change than they do about Russia trying to rebuild their old Soviet Union by absorbing Crimea and bullying Belarus and the Ukraine.
...you can't convince zealots on 'saving the earth' when Nuclear-Powered dictators like Russia, China, and North Korea meddle worldwide. Iran and its clandestine nuke program and its desire to destroy Israel is also a threat that environmental worries don't want to consider that could lead to a mini-ice age and environmental disaster if we have a major exchange. That is a bigger threat than climate change.

As an old Cold Warrior, I find it very problematic that everybody seems to be ignoring Putin's land grabs. You would think that Europe would be pushing for some kind of action to counteract Russian aggression, but crickets....

It is definitely time to start paying some close attention To What We As Americans are doing as well as the enemy. It did not help that we damn near allowed Iran to bully US out of 1 billion dollars American currency. It is not about the money so much as it is about our attitude. Iran has kidnapped Americans and other innocent people several times in the past demanding money and the release of prisoners. it is how they are they have been that way but they still knew the drill when it came to the messing with the USA. I do not say this in order to badmouth are past Administration obviously they can be a very fine line between diplomacy and the softening of our national image. maybe I'm wrong but after all those years of kidnapping and extorsion the iranians actually found themselves in paydirt for a moment.

Climate change formerly Global Warming seems to be pretty funny when you think about WWIII. Remember, no one knew when WWI would start, and WWII started and no one believed it really had started...except Poland and those close to German. So, someone tell me when WWIII will start? Please also tell me the correct stocks to pick and lottery number.
