The author should have stuck with writing about battleships and maritime operations. Poorly researched and poorly written story.
The last sentence of the very first paragraph is absurdly incorrect, whereas the "Gulf War" and Operation Desert Shield/Operation Desert Storm are synonymous. If the author is not able to get that simple fact correct, well...
If this is an example of our leaders in the US Intelligence Community, no wonder the information that is extracted and presented to the US National Command Authority is of exceedingly poor quality.

HARDLY, They are a older design than the 15, so they would have needed time-travel to copy the F-15, the Mig-25 was in operation two years before even the RFP for the F-15 was issued.. If there was comping done, which I doubt. it could not have been the Russians doing it.
