Has this happened before Rio? I can't remember anything happening in other Olympics. These dudes were serious. Thank God the swimmers did what they were told to do.
U.S. Olympic swimming star Ryan Lochte said he and three other U.S. swimmers were robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning in Rio de Janeiro by armed men posing as police.
Lochte, 32, told NBC the quartet of swimmers were in a taxi coming home from a party at Club France when the cab pulled over and was accosted by a group of men who flashed a police badge and guns.

I think I heard that there are certain areas in Rio that aren't visitor friendly. Maybe that's where these guys went. They're lucky the didn't get killed. Rio has sort of had a jinx on it since it won the Olympic rights.
