.44 Specials were (and still would be) my main fodder for my Model 29. That's my "practice" round. The magnums are for hunting. They're too punishing and costly for paper punching.

I'd rather use .44 Special brass for practice. Everything is the same except the length of the brass, and it's cheaper.
