SSgt Terry P. - when I was going through Aviation Ordnance “A” school. All my friends were Marines. Their barracks was not too far from mine. I made a close friendship with one Marine that insisted that I be included in their class picture. I was the only sailor in the picture. Some of the Marines weren’t happy about a sailor being in their picture, but Buddy told them, no Gene, no Buddy. I had a great time.

PO1 H Gene Lawrence - To me there is no animosity or derision for any other branch of the services. I have served in combat with Sailors,Soldiers,and Air Force,the only difference in one an the other was their specific job and each one did it well.
Teasing other branches is just that teasing.the respect for their service is unquestioned.

CSM Charles Hayden Last time i was out that way,i saw some reserves training at Yermo that found out that "keep off the grass" meant exactly that. LOL
