I believe her commander is allowing her to serve. However, that is based on that video and whatever defense she could come up with. I highly doubt her commander has seen her despicable social media posts and her tattoo.. She had orders to the USS Carl Vinson, the 3rd Fleet Command Ship.. I know a few people over there and have let them know exactly the type of person they are receiving. I stand by the commander's decision, but personally, I would have discharged her. There's absolutely no room for someone like that in the military. All I can say is that she is lucky she wasn't in uniform.

Nothing less than she deserves. I don't think she should be allowed to continue training. Just my two cents.

What I find ironic is that 90+% of the population never heard the third verse and it certainly was not known by very many - until protested. Seems sort of counter productive.

Thing is, is the context they are implying the context in which it was written?
Given we were at war at the time fighting for freedom they need to proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Francis Scott Keys was endorsing slavery.
We hear all the time how based on times changing what was written has a different meaning now. Before you can determine that you have to understand the meaning when it was written. It could be exactly opposite in meaning of what they are protesting now.

Have you heard the third verse? I think you only heard about it through Facebook, stop being a follower and be a leader! This is why you are an O3 correct?

I have heard all versus, but, as most have only heard the first routinely. At his point in my life I am not going to go back and try to rewrite history to make it what I think it should have been. First I have no desire to and second that would eliminate the ability to learn from it.
But, I will challenge you. Just what do you think I should be doing to lead in this instance?
