Ahhh geee. Anyone remember the dot com bust? But what’s really missing in this piece is that the ridiculous combined CA and SF tax structure is driving companies and people to Texas and Arizona...especially the ones without manufacturing heavy equipment, but even then offers for breaks are making things appealing. The folks stuck with underwater mortgages are even getting buyouts. COVID just sped things up and the supposed surge back to offices will plateau quickly.
