These are the same he/she said cases that have ultimately resulted in many of our military service members being wrongfully convicted and sent to prison. Committing adultery is not rape!
"The greater weight of credible evidence in this matter establishes that General (ret.) Lichte remains and honest and compassionate officer who fell victim to an opportunistic subordinate,” Lichte’s attorney, Larry Youngner wrote. The woman targeted “Lichte for her personal and financial gain, to include Veterans Affairs (VA) disability benefits in retirement.”
Although Lichte retired in 2009, the woman stayed in touch with him through mid-2016. She contacted him by email, phone and in at least one visit to the Tampa area to play golf and have dinner with him and his wife, according to Youngner's account of their relationship.

This is what i have i have Been saying for 25 years... and with the Political efforts By The Congress Critters they are making Mountains Out of Mole Hills and creating problems where there are None...
Granted there was Problems But the Problems are not as bad or as extensive as they are reported...
I'v seen many accusers go after the Command when they are Busted for Wrong doing... or stupidity or getting caught with their pants down...

Thank you for your comments SFC Smith, my point is if they will do this to a General just think about what they have and are continuing to do to our enlisted as well. SOH has over 170 cases now. One rape victim is too many. One falsely accused is too many. But for some of our Heroes to lose the very freedoms that they honorably served for over false allegations, enough is enough!

I know a lot of hook ups go on during deployments but I had no knowledge of anyone getting in legal issues thanks for the information
