Trump, family and the Republican Party!!! Lock them Up!! Trump wants to use scare tactics and fear of reprisals. That is the only reason he wants to face this person.

CPT Jack Durish - This is by far the sorriest excuse for legitimate government I have seen in all my life!!!

Just the idea that Congressman Schiff and Speaker of the House Pelosi tag-team presser blasts Trump’s right to face accuser as “blatant effort to intimidate witness” is absolutely ridiculous!!! This is all a made up farce with phony, idiotic rhetoric from a non-existent non-participant whistleblower!!! THis should be fought tooth and nail by the Executive Branch Attorney's and it should go before the Supreme Court of the United States...

It disgusts me to no end that our liberal politicians have made a travesty of our government policies and procedures within the Congress of the United States! What say you folks?

Technically there is not an actual charge, so the 6th Amendment is not in play. Only Congress' Article I power to impeach and the standing House rules on conduct of that is.

Why not? Impeachment is a criminal indictment. The House sits as a sort of Grand Jury that will make the "indictment".

CPT Jack Durish - No it isn't. It only results in removal from office if successful. To actually be convicted of a crime, he would have to be charged with one by a prosecutor, just like everyone else.

CPT Jack Durish - Well, if you don't like the expressed opinions of dozens of talking heads the past few months talking about how Trump can't be charged with a crime while in office, but could be after leaving, a quick look at the googles will resolve that question for you.
Yes, I am absolutely sure.
