More liberal BS. I get a kick out of this. Liberals ban Huckleberry Finn because the N word is liberally used. The problem with the banning is that Twain was very sympathetic to the black community. Twain wrote in the vernacular of his day. Why can’t people understand that and understand the message? Jim was the only adult in the room so to speak. But instead of struggling with the truth the book is banned.

"Liberals" did not ban Huckleberry Finn. Its original ban originated way back in 1885. The NAACP did oppose it for the N word, but white conservatives also opposed it for negative portrayal of slave owning Southerners.

BANNED: Adventures of Huckleberry Finn | American Experience | PBS
Just a month after its publication, librarians in Concord, Massachusetts deemed it “trash” and “suitable only for the slums.”
