I looked at it...before my disability, I was a scientist, a fairly real one, as well as clinically trained, though not in medicine, my wife and I needed to have me shut my license sevl urs ago, unfortunately. I realize the point he's making, however, while I think I comprehend his perspective, I don't necessarily think everyone is going to agree with it, of course. There was another video I'd seen of him about a topic in physics of interest to me, I watched it thinking that such popularization efforts for science somehow tend to trivialize it, somehow preventing more serious thought, in the effort to make it more comprehensible to the general populace. I don't necessarily disagree with everything he says, I do, however, think that I've been through sufficient very reap science to be able to pick!and choose those facets of what he says, accepting some, while discarding others. I needed a very, very long time to absorb the science I absorbed, often with considerable difficulty to be allowed the opportunity to acquire the training I was finally, ultimately able to obtain. Not all science is homogeneous, the methods of absorbing it, the philosophies involved, perceptible differ, depending on the type of material. Whether engineering, physics, math, comp sci, Chen, or biomed, the approach to each, I found, differed markedly. Further, on t all scientists are uniform as to their thought processes, by any stretch of imagination, either, I found, clinicians, esp., markedly differed from physical scientists, principally because their objectives ultimately differed. Those are just some thoughts, of course, I'd be eager for any discussion, hope was of interest, many thanks.
