Scott Simon: Canada must step up to help stop Beijing’s bullying of Taiwan

The Canadians are kind of goofy and their leader, Trudeau, is too progressive . Justin Trudeau thinks he can convince communist Chinese to take better care of their people and doing social justice. Basically, you're trying to get a trade deal yet you're preaching your ideology to a communist. And you wonder why you don't get trade?Recently, Justin Trudeau thought that he had a deal because when they spoke a few months ago the Chinese seem to go along with the request for a including human rights and improving the working conditions of their workers but what Justin Trudeau doesn't know is the Asians have a hard time of saying "no". I learned that college back in the 80s as an international business student. Here is a cartoon making fun of prime minister Trudeau getting kicked out of the Hall of the People's upper window because he pissed off the Chinese. He went there hoping to get a whole bunch of trade deals and he got nothing. LOL the lesson is: social justice Warrior liberals can't preach and expect communist Chinese to say yes.
