I well-remember the publication of Future Shock. I wish I was as talented at crafting titles for my books. They would most likely sell a helluva lot better. Sadly, the book, in Tofler's case, never lived up to the title. It's not the future that shocks me. It's the present. I lived among cowards who fear the future and want to return to those halcyon days of yesteryear when royal families ruled us all and no one had to take responsibility for themselves. Blame the almighty emperor. Who are these people? They're known as Progressives.

Thanks for your summary, Jack. I read this article in the Canadian news and not sure if it went to the USA so here it is on RP. Sometimes, Progressives are as stubborn as Wermacht soldiers on some junk science/social issues but not as funny as Peter Sellers LOL.
