Search for missing Argentine submarine will continue, country's president says

More bad news for the submarine community, an explosion was detected before the sub went missing and it is likely in about 15,000 ft of water.

SGT Ty Henderson That is a Lot of Ocean. Too Bad the Navy No Longer maintains SOSUS Red that may have been able to locate it.

Not being a Navy guy, I had to look up SOSUS. That’s quite an array of listening devices.
