Sadly the mob lacks the voice to debate coherently, so they resort to threats of violence. Fortunately, most are also cowards and nothing comes of their bluster. However, there are those few exceptions who, goaded on by the bleating of the sheeple will attempt some foolishness. That's why there will always be a need for men with guns to keep the rabble at bay.

Do I EXPECT to see a riot at the Republican National Convention? No. Will I be surprised if there is one? No. If there is one, do I think that there will be shooting? Yes. Do I think that the shooting will be all on one side? No.
My most sincere desire is that there are actually some cooler heads out there who will prevail - but I still don't have enough evidence to see that as better than a 60/40 chance.

Although the likelihood of riots at either convention is low, it is a whole lot lower at the Democrat's convention than it is at the Republican's convention.
