Sooo ya that happened, and I’m dying laughing at this quote
"After our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate."
You’re not really a “volunteer” if you are selected at random and FORCED!!! Someone needs to beat a United Employee with a Dictionary. (Then again I think the general population may need that)
I will say he has a great Law Suit on his hands and the PR Fall out so close to their last leggings issue is going to make anyone who can pick a different Air Line. All of this so 4 of their Employees can hitch a ride. So who wants to bet we hear an apology from United in the next day followed by them saying they have tried to reach out to the Victim, and then they will come up with how much they offered him for his inconvenience.
Seems United is the Unfriendly Sky’s.

I refuse to fly United after the dumb-asses lost me and my girlfriend's luggage. She had a flight from England to South Carolina with Delta with 4 or 5 stops and didn't lose an item. Then, flying straight to Cali from Charleston on United, they managed to lose both of our luggage. Me not a problem as I had only joined the Navy a year ago and had all my clothes still at my folks house (where we were headed). But Lisa had nothing, so we had to rush out and buy all new clothes (I know...she was HEARTBROKEN...). We checked daily and nothing. United never acted concerned or offered anything. I then filed a complaint with MWR and they dropped United as a "choice" in Charleston. Got a lame-ass letter one year later apologizing. Never did get compensation for her clothes.

She went back to England wearing all the latest USA California fashions and became pretty popular as you can imagine. Our next phone call, she asked if I had any single shipmates looking for English girlfriends. I think every one of her friends gave her a photo to send me.
