Also comes up with all of my calls to the VA Hospital regardless of why I am calling which really cuts through the chase if immediate help is needed.

I don't see much significance in that other than promote veterans to reach out when needed. What does, "The program centers on protective factors and also knowing the risk factors involved in suicide" mean?

SSG Derrick Iozzio - You sir have a gift, and that gift is, you can see into veterans eyes and see the tortured soul. There have been several times that I have asked a veteran do you feel stress, anxiety, racing thoughts, depression, suicidal ideations, and insomnia. That is when they know I understand how they feel and think.

None of my therapists could connect with me when I was in total darkness so I had to heal myself. I have thus written a PTSD/Depression Paper to help people. There is a dichotomy to it. A. Understand PTSD. B. Realistic coping skills. I would love to share the paper with you. I have helped many veterans with the paper. Half of the readers confided they cried. In a good way.

MAJ Ken Landgren - I would be interested in reading your work sir. As a mental health peer specialist, I am always looking for ways to serve my brothers and sisters. My email is: [login to see] . I have a facebook page as well, Catch 22 Peer Support. I have collaborated with other veteran owned organizations in several different states so that as a team we can be more effective in helping vets. We also have a page on Facebook- SAVE VETS. Thank you sir!

SSG Derrick Iozzio - The paper is called Love Squared. I would appreciate your thoughts as I blog about the paper. Best of luck in helping other veterans. https://www.wellnesswishes.org/veterans
