That certainly was a part of it, but at one point it was on one engine...

Sgt (Join to see) - That was during the ascent. Indeed, it seems that one motor quit early during the ascent and there were some flames from some extraneous material that caught fire inside the motor bay. But that motor reignited for the descent...

CPT Jack Durish - Yes, you are right, it was on ascent, and I was surprised to see the flames in the Engine housing... That was a bit unnerving... The descent engine control did not seem very precise as I have seen in the Falcon 9 boosters as they descended and landed on their recovery pad... I am sure that they will have this problem corrected in short order, Jack...

The know-how and technology required for the ship to do what it did - Amazing. Sure, the very end didn't go as planned, but that's why it was a test - to find unexpected flaws. But the whole project wasn't even realistic just a few short years ago. Thank you for the share Sgt (Join to see)
