Police said, Our hearts go out to the victim’s family but so does this jaywalking ticket.

Not for me either, I would rather use a car with no Hyd brakes, then use the hand brake to stop. Ahh, I'm old too, I used the hand brake all the time, in the 60's, car wheel cylinders leak all the brake fluid out.
Is it right to use the terminology, "Hand Brake", I don't think the young'ens know what a Hand Brake is or was. Just like dimmer, or starter switch on the floor board. Lol
I can hear SSgt Michelle Chadwick now, "No Hyd brakes". Lol

Cpl Scott McCarroll - ROFLMFAO, you wouldn't have been in Counter Measure, would you? I wished I known that information in the 70's. Lol
Now getting back to CB radios, I had a Corbra in my 1974 MGB, don't know what kind, all I wanted was a CB. I put at the rear left side, a long wipe antenna, because I like the look on the military jeeps.
At night we use to play a game trying to find the broadcasting individual's location, by reading their strength signal on the slide. I wish I could remember my Handel.
Anyway, the CB was good information where the Cop's RADAR was located at in the mornings. The trucker's would always have chatter about seat covers. Lol

PO3 Bob McCord - Being a cop, cars that were painted bright colors like, Red, yellow, or had racing stripes, brought attention to themselves, for the cops.
As well as, fast cars, we called them, LFA's (Low Flying Aircraft) and call ahead, to be on a look out for them.
I always told the new cops that we were lucky for fast cars, or we wouldn't have a job. Lol
One trick we used was, we would get close behind a fast car at night, as to challenge the driver to speed up, and showoff his fast car. And, it worked all the time, then pulling them over. Hey. I can write a book titled, "Dirty Blue". Lol

My handle is Hap E Jack at the time I had my CJ 5 put 2 8' Fire Stick antennas. Great for triangulation the signal would grow stronger as I turned in to the direction of the Xmiter SGT (Join to see)

PO3 Bob McCord - The road games were very fun, when I was on my police bike, I would ride in the blind spot of the bigger vehicles, they wouldn't know I was there until they saw the blue lights. Lol

Phoenix is a terrible place to ride/drive anyway. I think autonomous cars are being rushed to production. I want to be as far from one as I can get.

A1C Ian Williams - I like to drive. I'd rather RIDE, but I like to be in control. I have a hard enough time riding in a vehicle with someone else in control. No way I could hang with NOBODY driving! LOL
