This is a perfect example of how what you do today can come back to bite you later. In 2017, the Republican-controlled Senate voted 52-48 to reduce the vote threshold for confirming nominees to the Supreme Court from 60 to 51 to avoid Democrats filibustering Supreme Court Justices as the Republicans did with Obama's nominees. And so the downward spiral continues. One bad deed engenders another

Don’t forget that it was Harry Reid that reduced the Threshold from 60 to 51 for all other judicial nominees. The Republicans then put the applied the same standard to the Supreme Court.

LTC David Brown - I didn't forget, since the article was about SCOTUS, that's what I used. You won't see me deliberating going askew. I don't believe one party's misdeeds justify the other's.There are numerous examples of this from both parties. I believe politicians don't actually have firm values. I call them fluid values or values of convenience. I am often amused at the level at which many Americans blindly follow the leaders of "their" party and automatically believe what they say. I remain equally skeptical of all members of both parties.

The pick, if she is sane, will get through...we don't need to listen to the BS from the left.
