This is news to me. I was the officer in charge of lodging amongst other things when I was there in 2012. I didnt hear one person ever mention problems with black mold. I never read any emails or got any info from my predecessor about it either. Either way, that problem needs to be fixed. Cant have unhealthy war fighters living in unhealthy lodging.

Black Mold can cause many things...especially in the lungs...causing lung cancer and many breathing disorders....it's actually really bad stuff. Stop giving money to these foreign countries and re route it to places like this. What the heck?!?!?

SSG Carlos Madden If this is true, this is a very serious issue. Black mold can create serious health issues.
