Don't be paranoid, this one won't pass either. I have total faith in the useless congress. Remember they have a 17% favorable rating and don't care either way

There is no due process when it comes to the no fly list. Hell, there isn't even notification you're on it. At least a criminal has the right to know what he's being charged with. Being placed on the no fly list does not confer this right because there is no charge. Had a friend on it and he didn't even know it until he tried to get a flight. Took him the better part of two years to get his name removed because there is no process for doing so. He pestered them enough then finally threatened lawsuit before they actually looked into it. Still doesn't know why his name was on it.

How about the people who could have been saved if it was in place. So inconvenient so what. You wait in line at the airport for hours because you are guilty of carrying weapons until you prove you are not, where is the due process there??

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Are you upset about the lack of due process or are you saying that you are okay with no-fly lists and their lack of due process?

MSgt Michael Bischoff - its only a minor inconvenience? Its actually a crime to attempt to buy a firearm if your restricted from doing so. So you would be guilty of a crime as soon as you fill out the BGC and sign it. Guess what else? you would be violating the law weather you knew you were on the list or not. So even if you managed to prove yourself innocent of being a terrorist and get your name removed from the lists you still violated the law by attempting to purchase a firearm while being restricted from doing so. Which by the way carries jail time/fines and tadaa a restriction of your 2nd amendment rights! In no way is this ok or constitutional. If they cant keep you from buying a gun by arbitrarily placing you on a list they can get you for violating the law. A law which you have no way of knowing your violating until AFTER you violate it. But that's ok right cause its only a minor inconvenience right?
