That is interesting news, my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell that "Chelsea and Adam Stipe adopted Maverick, a 4-month-old pup, to provide companionship and support for their blind 11-year-old dog, Charlie, who lost his eyesight to glaucoma and, eventually, a double enucleation, NBC Philadelphia reports."

"Best friends fur-ever! Two golden retrievers in North Carolina have taken social media by storm for their uniquely pawesome bond."

Here is another similar story.

Blind Dog Who Lost Eyes to Infection Has Adorable Pomeranian As Seeing-Eye Guide
"Hoshi, an American Eskimo dog, had both of his eyes removed after suffering from a painful eye disease. Six months before his surgery, his family adopted a Pomeranian named Zen and the two became fast friends. Now Zen acts as a guide dog while the pair travels the world hiking, camping and kayaking. The dogs' owners say the pair has a special bond deeper than friendship. Before introducing Hisho and Zen, they were nervous to bring a new dog home. Now they're confident they made the right decision."
