I remember a Chinese colonel and his wife dashed across the MDL in Panmunjom in 1989 while I was there assigned to a medical company in the Western Corridor. Spent the day in a firing position overlooking MSR 1.

Thanks for commenting. However, I was trying to point out that in the last paragraph that the AP stated - "defected to capitalist South Korea"; which sounds more like a socialist propaganda statement, than reporting of the news.
