Sorry to hear that. Not sure if drugs are alcohol were involved but the biggest 900 pound elephant in the room is lost people have alcohol and drug problems but they think they're sober when they're actually functioning alcoholics period I know I went to an AA meeting for the fun of it while taking care of my broken ankle and I got to listen to current and former soldiers who are Commander erected or her went to an AA meeting for help and others who lost their careers because of alcohol. I think alcohol was a factor in my sister's suicide in 2015. We lose too many veterans to Suicide. Call a buddy talk to a chaplain go to meetings and seek help and you will find out that if you suspect you of a problem those meetings will make you feel at home to be able to scusset with your peers who some of whom who may even be military and they will be able to understand instead of like many who think that it can't be any worse and they decide to kill themselves when they don't realize that it there a lot better off than they think they are. Stay alive and communicate with each other.
