I don't think the problem lies with purchasing these medals or any others for that matter. The problem is when someone misuses or misrepresents those an award they do not rate.
This is the same time worn tactic of the anti-gun mob. We shouldn't punish the law abiding to to do what they are authorized to do while the criminals and posers will do what they do regardless.

As one of those who have the enemy marksmanship badge, my Marines told me that one and I still love it, I don't see a need for a law. We have enough stupid laws on the books already. Hell its still legal to beat your wife in NC as long as you do at noon on Sunday with a stick no bigger around then your thumb. I do believe it is a shame that people feel so badly about them selves they they would hand over the money for a Purple Heart, that darn medal costs an arm and a leg, just to try and feel better about themselves.

Why not have to show proof to get them. Life ERB or what ever it is called now. But since I have said that, they have mine all screwed up so I would be in trouble!
