Our mission is to defeat ISIS, I think that is pretty clear. Agree with the wars going on too long but largely that can be attributed to the last President's drip-drip, dribble, dribble approach to foriegn policy which allowed ISIS expansion to go unchecked and largely unchallenged. The current President is more anti-war and far less Kumbuya than the last one and will pull out of Syria once it is clear ISIS is destroyed. General Mattis already relaxed the ROE's quite a bit as well to expedite the advances and wrapping this conflict up.
