I created a group on LinkedIn for transitioning veterans to begin networking with established veterans. During my job search I discovered that the job boards really don't work. You need to find the "Doorman" to get you in the door of your next company. The intent of this group is to linked you up with the "doormen" so you find your post-military career quicker.
