Why do a few dumb reporters always fall for this crap and try to rewrite history to fit their political leanings. I'll never understand it and seeing stuff like this is just a sad commentary on our society. This guy is a psychopath and killed Kennedy for the enjoyment of it and the shock it created. It is so clear to see that based on his statements immediately after the killing. This new story line that the asisination has to do with the Palestinian cause is an attempt to get empathy from naive people on his parole board. The reporter should never have granted the interview. Also, against teachings of the Catholic Church to support Capitol Punishment and I suspect that had more to do with Ted Kennedy's letter sparing his life as Ted Kennedy as well was against Capital Punishment at the time and took it as a political position. I can't believe he expects to get Paroled, let him rot in jail until he dies of old age.

Thats a nice story but also leaves out important facts such as he forgot that he killed RFK, his various times feigning amnesia, saying he didn't know why he did it exactly. Hardly a guy I would say had a firm motivation as indicated in the article. I understand why Jewish groups would like to believe that was his motivation. I still think he was a psychopath and merely using news accounts at the time. So the above article suffers from the same situation I objected to.
