LTC Stephen F. I have a simple solution. Hit them from international waters using the 5 inch on a DDG, CG, or Both

Yes, have a frigate/destroyer with SF ready to support and put A Marine MEU as a QRF and don't forget to have A-10s on standby with Ac-130s. The infantry units from the national guard sent there all have so much experience and they, I am sure, have enough ammo on hand. This is not Hillary's Benghazi. I am sure there is a good bunker complex.

LTC (Join to see) I suggest using ships because while the shells would be landing in Egypt, they would be fired against a hostile force to both the US and Egypt, and fired from International waters where we would not be violating Egypts Maritime Sovereignty. Only problem with planes is that they would have to be in Egyptian Air Space meaning they would need permission from Egypt. From what I read of the Camp David Accords that LTC Stephen F. mentioned, in signing and following those accords Egypt became very unpopular amongst her Arab neighbors. Staying in international waters would allow the attacks without Egypt appearing weak. We have broad shoulders, we can take the criticism of firing into a country to take out ISIS.
