The biggest threat to the US Navy was President Obama and his lack of spare parts Monies since climate change was more of a threat to his administration. Since then, thousands of contractors have glad it business or left the aircraft industry leaving the US Navy unable to get many of they're hanger Queen hornets and Growlers back to fully mission-capable status. Emphasis on Climate change versus defense. with this new Administration, this trend is being reversed.

We have a crisis level shortage of skilled works in every arena, government, military, and civilian. Kids are being told that skills are second-class to academics. We better get our heads on straight or it's going to get worse.

That guy who does the show Dirty Jobs, I think you posted a video a couple of weeks back. There is a shortage of skilled workers for that same skilled workers for that very same reason!

The shortages had nothing to fo with climate change and everything to do with the sequestration cuts caused by the repubs refusing to pass a budget that increased the deficit. They claimed they would never ever put that debt on future generations. Then Trump came in and suddenly deficits dont mean shit and they both increased spending while decreasing revenue with tax cuts which has deficits exploding.
