I'd like to see the FBI Training Tape they are talking about. I took one course in Virginia but we never did bouncing bullets....

On the automated record of fire range at Camp Ripley we observed many rounds on the range that skipped off the dirt in front of the target and then hit the target. What might of or would have been a miss turned into a hit. I guess the same goes for the enemy. A skipped round that hits you may have lost some velocity but its trajectory has taken a new direction and who knows where that round is going to hit you?
