Cats pay little to no attention to the laws of physics.......or to anything else for that matter. They do their own thing, and couldn't care less what anyone thinks about it. Scold a dog, and he will drop his head, basically admitting guilt. Try and scold a cat, all you get is a look that basically says "piss off" and then it saunters away like it owns the joint.
