I've tried everything they can throw at me, including Chantix, and all it did was make me crazy.

BTW I quit smoking in 1987 after starting in 1972 and being encouraged by the Army after I enlisted in November 1974.

LTC Stephen F. Good for you! I quit smoking in 1984. I went to the Shoppette in the basement of Wilford Hall medical center where I was stationed. Purchased a carton of Marlborro 100's. Went back to my office, opened the carton, took out one pack, opened the pack took out one cigarette and it hit me like a ton of bricks. My mom's voice asking me why I'm smoking. I took the one cigarette, put it in my middle desk drawer, took the pack and the carton and put it in the trash. A year later, I took out the one cigarette and through it away.
