Soaring Consumer Confidence: Are Americans Happy It's Trump, or Just Happy It's Over?

That's not going to make the lefties happy. Let's check with Paul Krugman, as they say even a blind squirrel finds a nut.

Happy its over and Happy Hillary Clinton wasn't elected. Hopefully all will work out OK. I did vote for Trump and given the choices was the only one to make.

The markets are reacting to the expectation of lower taxes on businesses, the repeal of Obamacare (a jobs killer), lower taxes on repatriation of capital etc. etc. etc.

If Trump doesn't do these things then we will see the reverse later. He shouldn't let any grass grow under his feet on these things.

I think most of us are glad the election cycle us over. Half of us (that voted) are happy, the other half not quite as much.
