Hmmm. I see both sides here. Not sure that giving him benefits would be wrong though. Glad I don't have to make the final decision.

What about leading an example for service members. That is all I would ask of any service member.

A1C Ian Williams, although I agree with you in principle, young soldiers are not the leaders. They are the ones who are LEARNING to lead. If you've never done anything you've been ashamed/embarrassed about after drinking as a young Airman, then you know that you were the exception.
