Don't withdraw, borrow from and pay interest back to your retirement account

I never really had Retirement savings.

Seems like a bad plan to me if that is what your only source of income will be when you do retire. You want that balance to keep increasing, plus penalties for early withdrawal and taxes on that are going to be a killer.
