Not to mention, pricey.....I agree, I think it will make for lazy marksmanship. Also correct that tech will always fail at the worst possible time....BUIS?

A fully enclosed helmet, camera/computer sighting, put the 'X' on target, pull trigger and the computer then micro-manages the exact point in time to fire for best results. Yea - I read way too much sci-fi! :D

Bring on the smart systems, full powered body armor, synced rotating encryption for squad level command and control.

Looks like something that would work very well when attached to a vehicle or mobile electrical source. Probably not practical for a man portable system in it's current configuration. concepts like these will really help to push the range capabilities in 5-10 years.
