Interrupting your regularly scheduled political drama is a time in US history that cannot be denied, showed we had Rhythm, Soul, togetherness even if in a limited capacity due to healing from the civil rights era and Nam. The military went to a all volunteer force, and the clothes and hairstyles of the time were FIERCE!!! If there was a clothing time frame I'd go back to, this would be it. I'd have my OJ Simpson fro, my bells, shoes, and poly shirts, and all the records I could scratch before pops scratched my ass. Soul Train with Don was the BOMBDIGGITY, and while AB was great, Soul Train was where it was at....regardless of race. The only show where the Asian lady was a dancer long enough to see her own daughter grow up and be a dancer in the modern show...enjoy the moment even though many never got to watch it with the age groups on RP.
