Yes. Are bathroom signs really that important that they need federal government involvement? Glad to see the feds step aside on this and get out of the ant-hill business.

Col this just baffles me- we are creating regs and OIs on how to deal with such a minute section of the populace. We have gone way to PC.

Maj Marty Hogan I am thankful that the President Donald Trump administration has decided to "revoke federal guidelines telling public schools to let transgender students use bathrooms and locker rooms matching their chosen gender identity."
It seems like good news that anti-bullying safeguards will not be affected by the change. Bullying is never acceptable.
However I am glad that schools will not be forced to bend common sense to the whims of adolescents and adults with an axe to grind.
"The decision, not yet announced, would be a reversal of an Obama-era directive issued in May requiring public schools to grant bathroom access even if the student's chosen gender identity isn't the same as what's in the student's record. That guidance will be rescinded, though anti-bullying safeguards will not be affected by the change, a government official with direct knowledge of the Trump administration's plans told The Associated Press."
